Painted Shapes 02 by Danish artist and designer Berit Mogensen Lopez presents a captivating composition full of flowing movement. Large, rounded areas of light blue, purple and orange are grounded by earthy tones, creating a work that is warm with a smack of vibrancy. The deeper nuance of the colours and forms are accentuated as each coloured area overlaps one another, revealing the process of the artist’s canvas.

Berit Mogensen Lopez is a Danish textile and pattern designer who works in the space between art and design. Her work is mainly based on her colourful and unique collages, as seen in her collections of hand-tufted carpets, prints and posters.
