Each color combination puts its own unique touch on your interior decorating. The glass candle is easily filled with lamp oil using the enclosed funnel.

ROUND OIL CANDLES WITH WICK

The below is included, when you buy an oil candle:

  • Round yellow-colored bubble, a tall glass base in blue.
  • A funnel for filling up the oil.
  • 2 wicks each with a burn time of approx. 1000 hours.

CANDLESTICKS MADE FROM GLASS

Living light is usually reserved for the darker months of the year but this new Studio About collection of round oil candles made from glass will enlighten any table setting, window or shelve all year round.

The round organic shape floats on a base made of solid-colored glass and brings a lightness and elegance to your décor. The different color combinations is a fresh breath of air to your décor and will fit in any Nordic-inspired, minimalist home, but certainly also full of colors.

These oil bubbles are a wonderful fusion inspired by the small colored glass vases and the oil glass candles.

“With our new oil candles we want to push the boundaries a bit on how to decorate with living light and offer every interior decorating enthusiast a healthier alternative,” says designer Mikkel Lang Mikkelsen.

OIL CANDLES FOR INDOOR AND OUTDOOR USE

Oil bubbles are designed for indoor use but why not bring this elegant candlestick outside on a warm summer night? The combination of the round shape in colored glass on the tall base will create a cosy and magical ambience. Pick your favorite color combination and create a unique table setting.

“The oil candle can be placed by itself, as part of a still life or clustered with more oil candles to form a beautiful play of colors,” says Mikkel.

MOUTH-BLOWN GLASS CANDLES WITH WICK

The candles are all mouth-blown and made from durable borosilicate glass. Borosilicate glass is a very strong glass type that resists high-temperature fluctuations. This means that you don’t have to worry about the glass bursting. This material is also scratch-resistant meaning that your candle will keep a nice appearance for a long time.

Because they are made from glass you avoid the annoyance of dripping wax on your table or tablecloth.

CLEANING

If you need to clean it, use warm or boiling water with a bit of liquid soap.

BURN TIME AND LAMP OIL

Oil and wick have a great influence on burn time and we have tested several lamp oils to find the perfect match for these particular glass candles.

The oil from Alaska is great for indoor use and can be purchased right here

A full candle can burn consistently for an average of 25 hours depending on the type of oil.

HOW TO FILL UP OIL

  • Let the wick stay in the little glass tube.
  • Add oil using the enclosed funnel.
  • Dab the top of the wick with a drop of oil from the funnel. Let about 3-5 mm of the wick peep out.
  • Extinguish the candle as you usually do by blowing on it or using a candle extinguisher.

NOTE: ONLY RE-FILL OIL WHEN THE GLASS IS COOLED DOWN
