A golden hued toffee chocolate whose key components are barley malt, Icelandic milk and sea salt. Nostalgically reminiscent of sweet and salty toffee biscuits.

Sea Salted Almonds + Milk
Milk chocolate from Madagascan cacao with lush red berry notes, balanced with gentle maltiness from Icelandic milk is topped with roasted, sea salted almond pieces. The freshly roasted almonds sprinkled onto this bar are evenly coated with Saltverk sea salt, sustainably harvested from Iceland's Westfjords. Rather than using the salt itself, they are coated with a 30% salinity solution.

Nicaragua 73%
A complex dark chocolate made from organic Nicaraguan cacao. This bar offers notes reminiscent of savory rye bread and mushrooms with lingering, tannic acidity. Since 2013 Ingemann Fine Cacao has been cultivating cacao and focus on sustainability, traceability, and producing the highest quality product for bean-to-bar chocolate makers, like Common. With Ingemann's Cocoa ID program, they ensure complete traceability with each bag of cacao purchased. Common selected their organic O'Payo variety for this bar.

Fruit forward Madagascan cacao shines with jammy fruit notes in this dark chocolate. A slightly lower cacao percentage offers balanced sweetness and bright acidity. The beans for this bar come from Bertil Akesson's plantation in the Sambirano Valley in Madagascar. His certified organic cacao is used by craft chocolate makers worldwide and was one of the first beans Common experimented with.

Black n' Burnt Barley
White chocolate in disguise and black as night. Lava salt sets the stage for burnt, popped barley in nearly savory white chocolate for adventurous tasters. This chocolate is unlike any other. The lava salt from Saltverk is treated with activated charcoal, giving this bar its dramatic color. The savory notes in this chocolate are a result of the bar's inspiration--well roasted malted barley, usually used in brewing porters and stouts. The stark black chocolate is then topped with popped Icelandic barley, coated in chocolate.
